CCLI joins World Benchmarking Alliance

“Today’s corporate sustainability landscape can appear fragmented and noisy. For directors, clarity is key. Legal duties offer a stable foundation,  helping boards cut through the noise, focus on what truly matters, and act with purpose.

As a WBA Ally and Nature CIC member, we’ll help ensure companies have a clear understanding of what the law requires and allows them to do. This is about enabling boards to navigate risks, shape strategy, and lead with resilience and confidence in an uncertain time.”

Commonwealth Climate and Law Initiative
The CCLI examines the legal basis for directors and trustees to consider, manage, and report on climate change and broader environmental risks, opportunities and impacts, and the circumstances in which there may be liability for failing to do so. We also work to advance knowledge on effective sustainable governance practice.
