Sarah is a UK-qualified lawyer at the Commonwealth Climate Law Initiative, where she conducts research and commissions legal opinions on the implications of climate change on corporate and financial law, particularly in relation to directors' and fiduciary duties and corporate governance.

Sarah is also a solicitor in Clyde & Co's climate risk team, where she advises corporations on their exposure to climate-related liabilities and risks (including regulatory, litigation and transition risk) and supports clients with mitigation and transition strategies. Before joining the climate risk team, Sarah qualified as a disputes lawyer specialising in energy and commodities arbitration and commercial litigation.

Sarah volunteers with Legal Response International and attends international climate conferences (such as COP26 and COP28) to provide free legal advice to climate-vulnerable countries during negotiations. Sarah also spent 6 months on secondment to The Chancery Lane Project, where she worked on climate clauses for commercial contracts across all sectors, and is Vice Chair of Legal Voices for the Future, an initiative aimed at educating junior lawyers on the climate and ecological crises.
